Rock, the post office was good to you dude! Your's showed up Saturday. You're the sixth entry. Excursion, you're number 5.

(PS - remember the boat number you're assigned on "run" day has absolutlely nothing to do with the order of entry - they're done alphabetically.)

The Portsmouth Rennaisance is almost completly booked if you want a room. All that are left are club level rooms at $179 as of 30 minutes ago. Better make room reservations if you are planning on going. Mine is in the mail.

How the hell can that be? If this truely is the case there's going to be a lot of pissed off people...:mad: :mad:

Sounds like they might not have held back enough rooms or THE DESK person did not take into account the block of rooms on reserve.

Gizmo 01-22-2007 11:29 AM

Re: Jammin On The James 2007

I just called to get room reservations at the Rennaisance. I talked to a young lady named Kelly. At least 5 rooms still available at the rate of $119.00 plus taxes. They are listed as the Richmond Powerboat Assoc.

Linster 01-22-2007 01:19 PM

Re: Jammin On The James 2007

Steve called me and told me he had blocked 140 rooms. I just changed my reservation. I originally told them I was with the RPBA and they did not reconze that. You have to tell them the Richmond Power Boat Association. I just got off the phone & there are 114 of the 140 rooms left. Sorry for the scare. The blocked rooms are $119 each.

No it's not.....you have to tell them Richmond Power Boat Association....for some reason RPBA or Poker Run doesn't register with them.

Obviously I spoke to someone who was clueless. Was able to call back last night after seeing posts that rooms were still being booked and got one. Sorry for the false alarm. Now have to decide if we want/are able to run our boat or offer up our boat biatch services :rolleyes:

Andre;

1st THANKS for keeping everyone notified about the SPEED LIMIT BILL (or the lack of) at SML. 2nd, Patty's sister and boyfriend might not be coming along this year. If they're out, you guys are in if you need/want a ride. We should know within a few weeks. I'll keep you advised.

BTW: Patty is working with Randy's wife Debbie who makes KICK AZZ Poker Run swim Suits for the ladies. This might be a good chance to get a FIERCE ALLEGIANCE Cigarette Swim Suit for your woman.:cool:
