Scott, where on the Indian River can a person launch/retrieve his boat....right in that Marina in the city of downtown Indain River? Is there another launch at that party store gas dock (or whatever it is) about halfway up the Indian River before you get to the town of Indian River? Sorry, hope I don't sound too confusing.

there is a launch there not sure how good it is, as you boat into indian river from mullett it is on the left. the best ramp is at the indian river marina, short and steep but i can put in and take out with both the 36 and 37 pretty easy. as don said the best ramp is in cheboygan.

Thanks Scott, I will probably use one of the Cheboygan City launch ramps.

Dyno Don, yeah...I already knew about the ramps in Cheboygan....just wanted to know what was available on the Indian River. Perhaps we will see you up there while you are vacationing without your boat...sorry to hear about the ice getting to your block.

We'll snag you guys as you're coming around the north end of the state---probably around the bridge. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

By the way, we plan on launching out of Cheboygan---is anyone else planning on launching there too? Don't really know how critical the rocks/water depths are between Cheboygan and Mackinaw City, but we have never run those waters before and would prefer to follow/run with anyone who knows those waters well on the way to Macinaw City.
