what can we do individually to change what was wrong ? noise? speed? (45 is not too fast), too many boats?, parking ? Docking ?

I'd really like to know so we can go back. Honestly I have'nt fell anything wrong. I'm surprised, and curious...

Thanks for the offer, It my deal and Ill work thru it. Some area residents just dont like performance boats and have a habbit of complaining. The Park Commissiion took alot of heat and phone calls about us invading the lake. Its all about perception.


There will be a Fall Run

There will be a spring Demo Race that you all can participate in

Didn't we have this exact conversation before the fall run last year, and that they would complain, and cause trouble? and I got jumped on for saying it? Plus all the negatives that were in all the local papers about it surely did not help.

I knew it would happen, as well as a few others. That certain group of homeowners would ***** and complain no matter what we did on the lake. We as a group have to be stronger than they are.

Put 4 boats all running side by side doing the same speed and making the same noise and the performance boat will get the complaint EVERY single time. Its a perception problem that we need to overcome. We were accused of running up and down the lake tearing it up and scaring the hell oot of the residents when actually it was a controlled event that was well planned out and safety was a number one priority. The residents were much safer with 100 of us running up and down the lake at a high speed then a few weekend warriors that come out of one of the bays after a full afternoon of "having fun" and tipping back a few and then racing down the lake. We will never change some peoples minds, but there are alot of fence riding residents that can be influenced either way, and those are the people we much choose to target and show them we arent a bunch of hells angels on water

there was a letter in the LG Mirror this Summer from some idiot that said that boats running 2 miles offshore made so much noise that they couldn't hear to talk at a BBQ. The sick part about the letter was that the lake is only about 1 mile or so wide at the point they were talking about. Now this wasn't during the Poker Run, but it just shows what happens on that lake with a bunch of idiots. The number one idiot is the fool that runs Americaide, Bill Dutcher

Maybe if Warren County didn't give him $50K in bed tax money he'd take Americaide and go away. He threatens them every year.
