Thanks, Sammy. Believe it or not, when we first left out of the marina, the port engine overheated about 1/2 mile down river . Needless to say I was a little disgruntled. Long story short, must have been an ice bag or lilly pad around the lower unit. Stopped the boat, took a good look at everything and tried refiring the engine. Water flow through the strainer was fine and everything cooled down. Crisis averted! See you the weekend of the 200. Will be working at the shop all weekend this weekend.

Posting this here, too.

Got a late start on finding accommodations. Can anyone either recommend or disabuse me of the notion of staying at Leisure Landing? We are bringing my boat and a motorhome. I heard they have a boat ramp and a long dock to tie off to. The owner said it is about 4 miles from Tin Lizzie's.

Have you tried Tickfaw Marina for motorhome space? They may be booked already, but that would be the perfect place. Let me know if you need any info on it.
