rain does not affect the river as much as wind. What we don't like to see is a southeast wind which keeps the water high

I am in breaux bridge, just got back from their crawfish festival, in AM, headed back to the river to watch the poker run pass by my house, then to new orleans for jazz fest, then to charlie's sat night, then bloody mary party on sunday. Be safe on the water and wear your kill lanyard. Sat 8:50 Am, lots of boats passing, water is up about a foot, sun is trying to break out. Michael

Default King Of The River

Who was king of the river? I heard it was a black and silver 29 DCB.

He might have been the king of the river but I bet he wasn't the king of Lake Ponchartrain on the way home from Madisonville!

The Dcb Was Cooking On The First Leg. The Only Boat I Seen Going Fast On The Last Leg Was The F4 Sunsation. Sure Looked Good Going Across That Rough Ass Lake.
