Could someone steer me to any runs and dates other than the actual NYC RUN.
Promised some doctors that are taking care of a small child I support with cancer in NYC a ride in a Poker Run. Don't want to scare the chit out of them with balls to the wall NYC run.
Anything in Long Island etc.
Have to drag a 12 ft.wide 43 Nortec Cat from Toronto.
Need to organize permits route and storage etc. so info ASAP would be appreciated.

The Mohegan Sun Poker Run in Long Island sound. It's a Poker Runs America event. It's out of Old Saybrook CT which is not to far from NYC at all. It's at the end of July. It's a great run put on by Ocean Performance one of the largest performance dealers in the world. They could definitly store you boat.

The NYC poker run has a speed limit of 70 mph with people under 18 on board. And its more fun for your guests because the boats are insight moreso than on the sound. Also easy access for your cat ( crane & strap hoist ). Billy also has a poker run out of Manhasset Bay Long Island Aug 25th. Try nationalpowerboat.com hope you can make it.

After a few discussions with friends I think I'll attend the big show on the HUDSON.It keeps the doctors close to Morgan Stanley and if indeed there is a speed limit if one of them brings one of their sons I get to see NYC from the water and not have to get it on with the guys that think us Canadians can't keep up.

Cat Astrophe will be there and lookin forward to it.
Now I gotta get permits to yank 12' over the border and through all the toll roads.

Insurance for me is a 2000.00 add on (for this one run)to my 16000.00 policy but its worth it to repay the doctors that saved my young friends life.

I'll be proud to fly the Stars and Stripes during the parade
