Wave report
 

I stiil stand by my first wave report,at 9:00a.m. there were only 3ft. waves,the 4-5ft did not start until 9:45a.m.,it was when the cloads blue out,then the sun came,then the 6-8ft started.The two heros of the day are Bill in the Baja,and Roger towing the cat in his 26ft Formula.Roger was sticking his bow into each wave.It was to bad about my PQ,that loaner boat I had was a real bummer.By the way Shawn I got the beer out of my clothes.

That was me...not a good day for the cats. Popped a external hydraulic steering line. could only turn left...good for nascar and nothing else. Would not have been a big deal except for being the the biggest water of the day and my girl being quite worried. Anyway, got towed by one of the flag/safety boats. I would like to thank Roger the captain and the other guys in the boat...you saved the day!

Was there any cats that made the whole loop?

What happened to the red Saber?

I heard it was a coil wire. But don't know for sure.

The whole weekend went by too fast. So it musta be a good time for me. I only wished I had met up with a few more of the OSO guys like Your self & Black Jack 58. Your Profile looks sweet.

Let me get in here now & say I GOT 2 DRIVE ZACKS 48 OUTER CAT! Did U Frik'n hear me, I said I drove that Bad AZZ Cat on Fri. I am not on that 4 hour go 2 the hospital thing, I'm on the 6 month program!!! Look out Connie!!!!!!!:party-smiley-004::cool-smiley-027:

Definately went by too fast. I did not get to meet as many people as I wanted too. I think I was one of the lowest budget teams there if not the very lowest. A LOT of nice hardware there. I really wanted to see the big skaters run. What happened to them. I heard the new one had fiberglass in the gas tank?

I'll have to tell my wife how the big boats got towed in by the little guys. :D We were standing on the shore, and she was looking at the Formula, watching it bob up and down out on the lake.. Knowing we have a boat of similar size, she said to me..."You mean you were actually thinking of bringing your boat up here for this? You're nuts..." Thought crossed my mind for a moment, too I suppose. :D Hats off to all you guys who chose to go out there.

After I broke this guy was runnin his sig right on top! Impressive to watch him FLY by.

That was probably mine (242 LS) you saw bobbing out there. Bring yours up next year.....we'll get you into the volunteer ranks.

The big lake certainly was rolling pretty good. I never even got my camera out to take pics.....too busy w/ throttle and wheel and my crew was too busy holding on.
Bill - I think they got a couple of your boat when we were leaving Bay Harbor.
