I'll keep an eye out for you. My parents have a place on the Amite. I'm usually on the water at least one day every weekend.

So I've been hearing. Sounds like a plan. Would be nice to have a boater helping me scout out ramps, parking, and all that before I get up there.

Hell, I might even jump in on that. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law live in Smithville, just outside of Austin. Might even run into Clay Washington too. He hangs at Travis. Got good memories of Hippie Hollow, The Oasis etc...

I normally stay on the Tickfaw side of the lake but I'm sure I'll venture over to the Amite side every now and then.

Thats all right. We usually end up either at Prop Stop or anchored out in front of there anyway.

Thats what I'm talking about. We'll caravan up there next summer and check out the Claymates in person.
