OK, I'll bite - what happened???? Were you intending to sell or did something unforeseen come up?

PS - You'd be welcome to ride with me Ron but I've already got 8. Don't really like to haul more than 6 usually but sometimes things get going and......:cool-smiley-011:

rjcardinal 04-10-2008 03:41 PM

It was an intentional sale. No problems here. Just miss it already. I will be looking for a bigger boat next year.

Ron

Not riding on a Velocity this year? You know you're always welcome on my boat but I think Jenn's invited the whole world to ride with us. Let me check and I'll let you know.

Hey is your fiancee's sister coming to the run? It would be nice to have some other people from my home town around.

jmeng 04-11-2008 06:41 AM

Nah they backed out. Got a harley ralley or some such schit. Now who would pick that over a big poker run? :D We are making tentative plans to trailer up there next summer and do a poker run on Travis.

KajunATVer 04-11-2008 07:54 AM

I bought Ron's boat. Thanks Ron and holler if you ever want to go for a ride!

Cool, and welcome to the board! I'm sure we'll get to meet up sometime during the 200 weekend.

Congrats, you got a great boat. Hopefully you'll put a few more hours on it per year than he did. :D

KajunATVer 04-11-2008 08:51 AM

Thanks and oh yeah, I plan to be on the river most weekends this season.

jmeng 04-11-2008 10:11 AM

I'll keep an eye out for you. My parents have a place on the Amite. I'm usually on the water at least one day every weekend.

Lets make sure we meet up and when you come out to Travis i'll show you around. Travis is a Great Lake!

jmeng 04-11-2008 12:33 PM

So I've been hearing. :D Sounds like a plan. Would be nice to have a boater helping me scout out ramps, parking, and all that before I get up there.

Hell, I might even jump in on that. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law live in Smithville, just outside of Austin. Might even run into Clay Washington too. He hangs at Travis. Got good memories of Hippie Hollow, The Oasis etc...

I normally stay on the Tickfaw side of the lake but I'm sure I'll venture over to the Amite side every now and then.

Thats all right. We usually end up either at Prop Stop or anchored out in front of there anyway. :D :food-smiley-009:

Secure Boat and/or Trailer Storage for the 200

Hey guys if you or anyone you know is looking for a safe and secure location to store your boat or your trailer for the weekend of the run please email me at [email protected]. I own a storage facility that is less than 1/4 of a mile from Tickfaw Marina that is fully gated, lit, and secure with plenty of room for everyone's toys. The going rate is $40 for Friday and Saturday Night or $50 for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Night whether you want to leave your trailer or your trailer and boat. Feel free to call me at (225)445-2028 with any questions.

Thanks,
