Yea it was sad to see her when we got her. She was sitting under a bunch of trees, Trim rams hanging by a rope, no outdrives or motors, upholstry and seats were rotten and almost fell apart trying to get them out. Most of the guages were cracked and broken and the plexi cabin cover and glovebox were broken off. The transom was rotted out also.

Here is a link to a few photos I posted in the photo section.
Maybe I will see you in May for the 200. We'll be there.

Sounds like the boat spent some time in Lake Charles at one point. Those guys are nuts about Contraband Days.

Scott, I got a great deal on a set of fresh 7.4's only got 330HP each but I can fix that and the price was rock bottom.

I think someone did have it on Lake charles at least some. I even found a Contaband Days Hugger while I was throwing stuff out.

I've got to open the shop and stay till around noon Friday but I'll haul ass back to the house and be ready for no later than 1:00. As it gets closer we'll firm up some plans. Maybe meet @ Charlie's and check out some of the hardware and then move out from there. Be a good day for some of the out-of-towners to get aquainted with the waterways. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate this year.

I will be coming from Springfield hopefully running in the fun run on Friday. My friends are flying in Friday afternoon and were just going to take a cab up to the south shore of the lake to meet me somewhere.
I'm not sure if you can take the Tickfaw river all the way down in lake Ponchartrain or if its tricky crossing the lake if you are new to area, but it would eliminate picking up a rental car and returning it because they are going to ride back home with me.

Tickfaw empties into Lake Maurepas, which connects to Ponchartrain via Pass Manchac. Not tricky but its about an hour run to New Orleans.
