Sup Dog?!??!

Here's what I was thinking. I've got to be at the shop till around noon Friday, hopefully more like 11:00am. Jayme will have the boat in the water and ready to go when I get home. I figure we can check out some of the hardware @ Charlie's and all hook up there. Maybe pull out from there around 1:00(ish) and head to Sun Buns. From there a little Blind River Bar and then polish off the day at Pier 13. I already talked to Guy and he said they will be open on Friday and will be looking for us to bring a good crowd. I figure the pool, the tiki bar and the restaurant would probably go over pretty good with this crowd. Nothing formal, just a little run to get some of the new out-of-town guys familiar with Lake Maurepas, The Pass, Blind River etc. and just another opportunity for us to burn gas and drink beer!

great video's just got done watching both. Actually the law enforcement appeared cool. I noticed they were checking for safety on all boats not just picking on the Hi=Perf. crowd. Just doing their job, and keeping it safe on the water for us all.

They're usually pretty fair around here. I was worried about getting harassed when I got my boat, being a young guy in a performance boat, but haven't been checked yet in the Baja. Get pulled over every damn time on the toon though.

If you just do what they ask, show them all your safety gear (provided you have the proper gear) and treat them half as nice as you would like to be treated, all is good. My old saying is "Just yes-sir them to death". As you said Jass, they're only doing their job and I'm sure it is a thankless one.

No fun run for me, will be detailing the boat and finishing up a few little projects. Might drive over to have a beer with y'all at Pier 13 though.
