We are keeping the boat at Legendary's Mid bay facility. They were very nice and helpful. Hoping for a few boats running around during the week!

Well, we aren't towing ours down but knowing my longing to be on the water we may just rent a party barge and trek on out to crab island and maybe beyond.

where is the "east pass"?

Do you need assistance in geting your Cigarette down here. There will be a bunch of Cig's here. HELIOS will be here as well.

East Pass is located directly in the middle of Panama City and Pensacola. The water is the clearest on the Gulf Coast in the Panhandle. Crab Island has become the hottest boat spot in the last couple of years. Average boats on the island is around 200. Not really an island, just waist deep water.

Nah, this is going to be a short weekend trip just to visit with some friends. We weren't planning on participating in this PR to begin with. We're already set up for "The Big One" in August and will be down Thursday afternoon through Monday for that one. Thanks for the offer though.

Like Fastdestin said, the East Pass is the bridge you cross over when traveling into Destin from Ft. Walton. It is the pass that extends from Choctawhatchee bay and Crab Island out into the Gulf. FD is correct in saying it is some of the most beautiful water I have ever seen in the continental US. Of course, depending on conditions it can get murky from time to time, but for the most part it is gorgeous - hence the name Emerald Coast.

We are on vacation that week staying at waterview towers cant wait to watch you guys make your runs out the pass from our balcony.
