Will do - fyi, there are a couple of hotel options up there too...that's where we stayed both of the past 2 years. It's about 20 miles north of the showboat, but real convenient for boat/trailer/launching - and a bit more spouse friendly accommodations If you're just bringing the knuckleheads, then staying at the showboat or Rainbow cove are the most convenient.

Once I nail our plans, I'll let you know.

Happy holidays to you and your family. Happy to see you still have your boat.

fyi...my boat is back on the west coast. I'm going to do Desert Storm again this year. I plan on making a couple of trips out there during march and april - since our season doesn't really start until noon...then shipping the boat back here at the end of April. If you are interested in starting your season a bit early out there with me - let me know, I'll hook you up with those logistics.

Anyone know how to get a hold of somebody at the Showboat? I left a message last week and still haven't heard back. Thanks.

Let me know if you have an open seat. Right now I would say I'm out based on business, but you never know. Thanks

I left a message at the Showboat back in November and haven’t been called back yet. I ended booking a room at the Savannah House. It’s a bed and breakfast that is about 1 1/2 miles south of the event. They offer group rates for more than four rooms – if your interested, let me know and I’ll send you my information. Here is a link:

Last year I booked late and ended staying in Watkins Glenn. We had a nice place but it was a little too far to drive after drinking.
