UPDATE!
We should have all the details laid in place after this weekend, we have been on the fence as where to have a late morning/ mid day stop before going on to Hazzards.

OK, guys Im sorry this took so long words cannot explain how busy Ive been this spring. Unfortunately just about everything has changed since the original plan. I'm no going into a lot of details but I just didnt have a good feeling about the original layout for numerous reasons. I sincerely apologize for it taking so long to come out with the final run down but here it is.
Friday night, were all meeting at Lyman Harbor, theres plenty of deep water docks available for the evening or overnight. The Lyman club will be having a small gatheing there that night so there should be a good bit of classic antique boats there to look at in addition to our crew.
Sat A.M. there will be a group of boats will be milling in front of the Cedar Point roller coasters bay side. The pack will leave at 11 A.M. sharp and head to the Jackelope in Lorain for a few hours for lunch.
From there the group will be heading directly to The Kelleys Island Casino for the seccond and final stop on the run. WE WILL NOT BE GOING TO HAZZARDS AS ORIGINALLY PLANNED!
93 Octane is available at Castaway Bay, Im checking on a few possible other places in Sandusky Bay and in Lorain. Lodging and overnight docking is also available at Castaway Bay but its pricey, the KI hotel has been booked for that weekend for months. The Budget Inn on Rt. 6 has good clean rooms at a very reasonable rate, its a $5 cab ride from Lyman Harbor if you want to leave your boat there and head to a hotel. Card hands are $100 bucks a hand buy as many as you want, winner takes all. In the past the winners have walked away with a few grand in cash.
Heres a few links to some of the key places involved, if any of you need additional info feel free to PM me or hell just call me.

As much as I would like to go see Hazzards (never been there) I think the Casino deserves us .... take that anyway you want
Actually .... I shouldnt say us, I should say you guys cuz I still havent found a place to sleep so I'm confirmed with my plans.

We are supposed to be in Mt Clemons for the Stars and Stripes Festival to promote both Michigan races.... at least thats what we did last year AND I forgot that my buddy's new band is playin next weekend too. He stopped in to make sure I'm gonna be there and I told him I'm tryin to go to the lake I missed the last show cuz I was out East... I just really wanna go boating ... and have strawberry shots. He said they'll bring strawberry's if I stay here. Its just not the same

Sandusky/ Put-In-Bay
Good morning.
So, we're on a mission. We're trying to experience as many of the hot-spot Poker Runs as we can. We've done Desert Storm, Thousand Islands, an several others up and down the east coast.
I'm being told that we need to experience a run in the Sandusky Bay, and in particular Put-In-Bay area.
It's about a 5-6 hour tow for us from Rochester NY, so it's not bad...but I'll probably only be able to pull it off once this summer. So, is this Sandusky Bay run the one I should consider for that experience?....or is there another upcoming one that would be better for us?
Feel free to PM me if this comes off as thread highjacking.
I look forward to the responses.
