Docking used to be an issue at Jaeger's in New Orleans, 90% of the boats had to anchor out and take a taxi in. With the stops we have now, its not really an issue. If you try to hit Sun Bun's at 3:30 after leaving Madisonvillle it will probably be too crowded. Other than that I had 0 problems last year.

Oh yeah, I think I covered about 105 miles last year IIRC.

Or if you hit Blind River Bar first out of the gate, you're gonna be in a sh*t storm of boats as well. We tend to run it backwards to an extent. That way everyone isn't jammed up at the same place. Tomorrow's Good Friday. Summer is around the corner.

How many boats do we have commited at this point. We still need to plan out that crawfish boil if we are going to do it. Maybe after that fun run on Friday???

Sounds good. I was kind of spearheading the fun-run last year and then things here at the shop went to he11 in a handbasket on Friday and I wound up running late and "screwin-the-pooch". I am off this year and, weather permitting, I'm hoping we have a good day Friday. I'm thinking Sun Buns and BRB are definitely on the to-do list and possibly even Pier 13. Haven't talked to anyone since it changed hands but I'm sure they would love to have us. Kamron, PM me between now and then and we can knock heads together and maybe come up with some sort of itinerary for Friday (the run and the crawfish boil).

As far as comitted boats, me, Stalkin, Sho-Time, Crochet, you, your crew from Tx, Alabama Gang (Cathouse and his crew). I would also think Boudreaux, Mac Davis and some of that crew would be in as well. I'm gonna start stocking beer at the condo now!!!

Good thing about being on my side of the lake, I can beat everyone to Blind River bar and get a parking spot.

Its great to be there and hear the pack coming up the river towards you and then see the rooster tails come around the curve.

Yeah, sold last year and isn't even a done deal that it will reopen. Of course, we could always make Canal Bank on the fun-run as well. I'm game for most anything.

Didn't realize it had sold. Thought it was just sitting shutdown, waiting on a buyer. Who bought it?

I'd be very surprised if it was open by the beginning of May, would think we would have heard something.

Kevin's or Hilltop would be a good lunch stop on the fun run.
