That sucks. Sun Buns was crazy. I dropped my wife off and then had to work my azz off to keep from drifting into docked boats or getting run over buy the dumbazz's that were in a hurry.

Did you ever catch up to the guy in the Baja from Blind River Bar?

Our group from Nashville had a Great Time! Friday and Saturday weather couldn't of been better. Enjoyed meeting everybody and thanks for the hospitality. Everybody was very nice and I can't wait for next year.

Yeah, ran into him (no pun intended) at Salty's. He was very nice about it. His sister got some pics of the damage and he gave me all of his personal info. We'll see how it goes.

At Sun Buns, the dude in the Formula SS with the "Walk-On's" flag was an absolute idiot. He kept turning around in the canal at Sun Buns and jamming everyone up. Well, with a 20 mph wind blowing down the canal and no chance of moving forward, guess what happened? Wind blows us into the cypress knees and high-centers the boat. Haven't even pulled it out to get a good look at the props. I'm sure a blade or two is lipped.

Yeah, next year I'll probably skip Sun Bun's altogether. Though I was being smart by hitting it early this year but I guess not early enough. Good to hear he's going to take care of things.

Wayne said something about a TOPPS run to Galveston this weekend - know anything of it?
Boat ran great on sat. Friday was a diff story. Had sand in my gas and spun 2 prop hubs. Also a little electrical problem that will be worked out tonight.

Last year I tried to go after Madisonville and couldn't even get into the canal. Thats why I tried to go first this year. Pain in the azz either way. I got my card but it wasn't fun. Next year I'll leave Blind River Bar a little earlier.

Crooz hate to hear the troubles. Makes me not feel so bad about not being able to attend......NOT !!! Would like to have met alot of y'all.
Talked to Lea breifly that nite and she said it was a mad house and to apoligize if she left anyone out, especially the "regulars". Y'all come back on a regular day and see what southern hospitality is all about !! Biggest day of Sun Buns history I'm told. Maybe next year have more dock, A/C be nice too, stripper pole...couple dancers....ahhh

Is that "low flying" stump/pole still at the mouth of river????
Man that worries the crap out of me. Come back across alot after dark just know I'm going to clip it one day. May drive a pole on it or something this hitch. Hard to see when water up.
Thanks for the thoughts Rob. The rest of your crew been trying to get us to come up to Jackson for a night at Shuckers. ROAD TRIP
