OCTOBER 16TH ,2010--WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE ARE HAVING A MAJOR POKER RUN IN CONJUNCTION WITH THUNDER IN THE GULF.CARIBE RESORT WHICH IS HOME FOR THE WET PITS IS OFFERING DISCOUNTED RATES AND A BOAT SLIP FOR THIS EVENT ALONG WITH TICKETS TO TWO TOP CONCERTS ON THE BEACH THAT WILL BE JUST WEST OF THE RACE VILLAGE.tHE CONCERTS WILL BE PUBICLY ANNOUNED AUGUST 27TH AND WE WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED. Pleasure Island Poker Run
Looking forward to yet another of the greatest shows on water and the best parties and people to hang with. This is a great venue for everyone. You can't help having a great experience and we welcome all with open arms. Fast boats, great people, the nicest beaches, and of course some of the best nightlife anywhere. Mark and "Viaqua"

I would like to send out an update on The Pleasure Island Poker Run. We have secured the host for our venue it will be at Caribe Resort which is located next to the wet pits . They have put together some great packages which all include the use of their docks. We will have parking for all trailers in a secure location on the property. Please feel free to visit our web site at www.thepleasureislandpokerrun.com . Updates to be sent out daily . Parties are set up for both Friday and Saturday night. Places TBA. We will be having a boat race party on Sunday which will be on the race course . Food ,drinks and music and lots of fun to be had by all.

I checked out the website but have a couple of questions.
Are there any limitations on boat size or speed?
Is access to any of the Thunder parties included with the poker run entry?
Are there any limitations on the number of entries?

Not meant to confuse anyone but was told the Caribe was the host for the poker run and the Island House was host for the races. Either way and anyway, seems like one great time. Hope to meet some of you there. We have changed reservations to include thursday.

Update:
We now have a secure gated area for boats and trailers for all people who are coming down and are planning to stay on the race course.October is one of the prettiest months to see Orange Beach.Our sands are as white as sugar and now our waters are clean and blue again . What a great time to be on the water. Need more information call 251-752-4974.
