I don't know even where to begin ......
Jason and Tony and all of the members of the club behind the scenes that made this happen ..... Bravo .... What an awesome time !!!
I thought last year's run was fun ...... This without a doubt was the best weekend of Poker Running I've had out of all the 10yrs of doing this sport.
I have said it before and I will say it again ..... Bill Taylor of Poker Runs of America could take a chapter out of your book.
The Buffalo Poker Run is the "Premier Run" of the North East!
If you haven't attended yet ... book now 2012.
Starting with the convoy rolling up the thruway to the event was freak'in awesome ...... Chris sorry you didn't make it ... next year we will try again ..... we need to get to 10 boats which = 2 miles of serious eye candy.
On that note ..... Lol ..... Jason you aren't going to believe this .... I have an idea ...... we need to do a parade down Chippewa Street with all the boats like they do in Key West.
You want to get some attention ..... 60 boats going through there will. We were talking about this before the bottle of Captain's was purchased at the bar.
The crew on the dock friday night with all the boats was AWESOME ..... what a party!!!
All the boats looked great! What a sight for the people on the patio/restaurant ...... apparently there isn't going to be a band playing at next years event .... I'm not sure why
The actual run was absolutely awesome .... great weather ... better route this year ..... more people on shore could see the boats ..... most important great people in the event!!!
Saturday night ...... Whew ...... you just can't make this sh!t up!
Starting with a great dinner ..... awards ...... breaking bread with new friends ...... it was like the calm before the storm ....
Then ....... it all went down hill from there .....
.... another gathering at the dock turning to the patio bar .... to dancing with the wedding party I wasn't invited to ..... to going to the world famous Chippewa Street's "After Hours Bar"
meeting two outstanding young ladies who couldn't keep their eyes off of me or do I have that backwards .....
...... to the ...... no wait not just a tall Capt'n'Coke to a bottle of Captain Morgan's purchased by Tony and placed on the corner of the bar.

Let the games begin !!!
To jumping into a cab that made Jared from Subway look like an Ethiopian ...... I said "hey what's your name?" he replied .. "Dre as in Dr. Dre" ..... I said "I'm DJ Dazzy Jeff of the Captain Morgan Crew ...... Awe-ight!!" as we rolled down the street doing the Detroit Lean in the cab .... another cab full of the rest of our crew ..... laughing histaricly because of the sparks coming off the bottom of the cab because of "Dr. Dre the fat azz cab driver's" cab ..... to doing a nascar race back to the Adam's Mark Hotel which should be call Roger's Mark Hotel ...... walking through the lobby only to find the crew from Bad Habit sitting the bar that is closed with the fence drawn still drinking .....
We meet Roger who has some serious juice at that hotel because it was green flag racing .... he gave go ahead to give us more cocktails on the house no less .... So being the athlete that I am I gathered up another crew and had this great idea to back downtown for last call bearing in mind it is 3:09 am already ...... off we go ...... WTF was I thinking
....
Get to the same bar ..... the girls were still there ....shocking I know ..... bar closes .... sidewalks are rolled up and we head to Jim's Steak House for some fine dining at 4:45am
Passing out at 5am and waking up to a phone call at 8:18am from Perfect Storm asking me if we were still on for breakfast was awesome.
Sitting at the table with white caps in my coffee ... it was then I realized I might have future as a meteorologist .... I nailed the forecast!
Special Thanks to great friends ..... Greg and Jeannie , Dave and Laurie, Ray and "Superman" (Roman) , Sam and Jolene, Jason and Steph, Tony, Chris and Lisa, Chris and Mrs. "Mean Streak" (lol), Kelly and Julie, Matt and his daughter, Ken and his son, Bob and Justin, Mike and Bad Habit's crew, and of coarse my crew.
You guys made an already great weekend into an absolute blast!
Jeff
P.S. Templeton Landing is on the phone wanting to know if I could help them with their sound system and if they could book all of us for another "Gong Show"

Man, I really enjoyed that video. Loved the editing of using different GoPros and showing the different perspectives. Made me really regret missing this run. That course around Grand Island is one of my favorites and then to have the big lake cooperate so you can really rip is a home run.
Loved the 2nd to last series seeing one of your crew's face flapping in the breeze - also found it impressive that you were spending some time w/HTG. Not sure what that Spectre has in it, but to be able to get footage of HTG is only something I could get while at the docks. My rig can't keep up w/him.
Nice job. Sounds like all had a great time.
Got Twins - loved your recap.

I would like to start by saying Thank you to all that attended this year’s “Buffalo Poker Run”. Without your support and the support of our sponsors it would not matter what Jason and myself did. That being said I have lots of ideas for next year and I have confidantes that next year will be a World Class Event. We have already received emails form city level people stating that they want some involvement because what they saw from the shore was incredible. If there is suggestions you might have please private message me and I will see what we can do to improve your experience.
It was great to meet all the out of town crews and we hope you join us again next year. I also thank everyone for all the great posts sharing your experience. It is that excitement that keeps my ideas rolling. I actually thought I was going to get a small break from the Poker Run planning but I realized to keep improving this event the planning will never stop.
Thanks for all the great friendships and support. It is great to be part of such a great event and club. I thank the board for putting up with my crazy ideas all year long. Jason hats off to you for once again planning a great event. Special thanks to my wife Sara for supporting me and attended her first poker run.
Thanks,
Anthony Scioli
