won't change my summer plans either, I'll still be trying to make that new gas tank fit and blower motor from last year. hey we are getting phucked bad oil is only 100.00 to 104.00 right now and so gas was 2.75 to 2.85 at 90 bucks a barrel. it goes up 10 to 15 bucks and we pay .60 to .80 more. HELLO HEY OBAMA a lil price gauging here I think. man if bush was in office the crybabys would be outraged. hell in my town it got up to 4.20 at 1.40 a barrel. the way its going we will be at 4.20 a barrel = 5.50 G. well I hope to be in the water by may so I can run a 100mph for 2 mins to the sandbank off plymouth mass known as BROWNS BANK where traction kites, sand golf are the norm. once in a while a dirt bike may show up . we are getting phucked so phuck them.

gotta just budget your summer with gas. I estimate and hopping 5$ a gal in the summer, running 110 gal tank (242 Formula with a 350). I figure 2000 will give me two months of every weekend on the boat. Not bad. You have to just put money aside now to be ready for it.

So when this post came out gas was $ 3.25 a gallon. Just went by a gas station it was $ 3.94 a gallon. with gas looking like it not going to stop when will people start pulling back ? Or what will be your breaking point ?

It will not affect the amount of runs or running time, However we will do runs that benefit a charity or organization of some sort rather then try the "get rich quick" high dollar runs where someone lines their pockets and you win some prizes that were donated. You can't take it with ya and at least I can say I've been there and done that. Even if I'm sitting on a state pier fishing watching the boats go by.

At these prices or higher it will definately affect me some. Will still be on the water as much as possible but the high dolllar poker runs will probably be out of the question. Also will probably limit the long blasts on any given weekend and save em for the big trips. Next thing is diesel at 4.30 plus to tow the boat anywhere is going to suck.

Was down getting the boat ready for the season and saw at our local marina 3.92 on the Water for mid-grade ethenol free I'm sure prices will go up on his next tank so I bit the bullet and filled up the crusier to rim(holds 300 gallons )

Hoping they still have it the same next weekend when we splash the sportdeck. Probably will be doing a bit more floating and island time vs long cruising this year.
