What winds effect the lake in this area, I see what is predicted but just curious what the predicted winds will do for the water. We plan on running a smaller boat and don't want to beat it or ourselves us if we don't need to. I would think a west or Northwest wind would be the toughest conditions?

Water condition app for the Great Lakes
What winds effect the lake in this area, I see what is predicted but just curious what the predicted winds will do for the water. We plan on running a smaller boat and don't want to beat it or ourselves us if we don't need to. I would think a west or Northwest wind would be the toughest conditions?

As the locals know this run is great because we can run an alternate course if needed where wind is not much of a factor. It's still early. Yesterday we where having Thunderstorms all day today and I am looking at clouds with the sun peaking through. See you all tomorrow.

we will get the run in. as of right now the rain is gonna hold off until late afternoon/early evening. bye then well be kicked back toasting eachother performances lol. due to all that goes into getting everything together with the authorities/ins etc etc we will run this sat unless it is thundering and lightning
