Hudson River Fall Fun Run 2011
#71
Anthony, you may know already, there are quite a few places to dock at the City of Kingston docks (small fee) which are a little further up the Rondout Creek, under the bridge on the right side of the Creek, if you need more dock space. A bit of a walk from the Steel House, but not bad.
The whole Rondout area is a lovely area and I'm sure everyone will enjoy the food at the Steel House. I wish that my boat was available as I would like to join the group at least in this area of the run. I may come down to the Steel House just to see the beautiful boats that you guys are bringing!

I've done this run every year its been around. If your on the fence, you will not be disappointed!! Every year it looks like its about to rain and ends up clearing up before we set off. The people, atmosphere, scenery, boats are all amazing. The food is excellent as well. You can't go wrong.... plus its FREE.
See you all next week.

Richard: Thanks, we'll see how it goes.
Anthony: I checked the Kingston docks and everything looks fine. Here is a pic with the gate for the docks:

The docks are in very good shape. I think that you may have to call to reserve spaces but you probably know that already.

I believe that there are 10 standard and 10 double wide slips.
Also a long aluminum dock and a few sideways finger slips.

The Steel House DID lose the finger slips, note the wrecked end on the dock closest.

The other side of the dock is fine. Naturally, the space here is limited.

Anthony, if you need any footwork done up here, let me know!
