I launch in Elk Rapids everytime I go out and agree that it is a well run launch. Be careful not to cut corners coming into the marked channel it gets kinda shallow. Nice sandy bottom though.....
Going to Charlevoix from Elk Rapids be careful not to cut corners along the shoreline south of the cement factory, you'll run out of water and it's all rocks down there.
Water depths aren't an issue with the current course. It would be an issue close to shore with the proposed route....

That sounds like fun we are in for sure, Nor-tech has 16 JL audio speaker's hooked up to two massive JL audio amps best sounding stereo i have ever heard.
