Those were Kellys exact words. lol

We have 24 boats as of this am and even more inquiries. I want to say I think the reason for the quick jump on this is because of how much this event is liked by participants and they keep coming back. Rite now registration is only open to prior participants and will open to all on March 15th. When this many people want to return to this event and already have $ towards it says a lot.

I really hope when registration opens to the general public that we also get a bunch of new participants. I mean this is OSO and let me tell you if your looking for an offshore experience lake MI can give you plenty! And as everyone knows these events are just a huge social gathering and we all have fun. Hoping to see many new faces this year also.

Id like to think I'm gonna run the boat easy to conserve gas but Im certain ill be gettin some 87 at the lunch stop LOL

boatfreak 03-07-2012 07:26 PM

Did you guys come up with a way to get 93 at lunch? If I can get some there I can run hard all day. Last year I bought some 89 after lunch and had to ease up after that. I don't like being passed.:cool-smiley-011:

liquidthunder 03-07-2012 07:37 PM

Gas at lunch stop....

We have talked with the Ward Brothers fuel dock in Charlevoix and they said it wouldnt be a problem to get some 93 for the Boyne Thunder boats. We will keep everybody informed on the fuel.
