I would def be in for a local run around the islands and such!! Not trying to run from Lorain to Toledo like a lot of runs seem to do. Spending 600 bucks in gas makes it a not so fun run for this guy! Keep me in the loop. I'm sure a lot of guys from Venetian would be interested also!

Just a suggestion here, run ThunderFest to get a feel for organizing and for a lay of the land per say. After that event, run something informal to the proposed stops with a small group that is on the same page. It would be fun doing the R & D to eliminate as many hiccups as possible. What will make an event thrive and grow will be organization and people willing to take the lead and put some time in preparation. Now if you were thinking of a few boats gathering and doing a run with a few stops that is easier to plan out. I like "Island Hop" if the islands are the center piece. Could also do a Cleveland "Shake the Lake" based one day run to attract East and West siders to offer a different run than Thunderfest. Just throwing it out there, any suggestions please chime in. I know there are liabilities, restrictions for an "organized" event that would need to be addressed. Maybe coincide with a downtown event like Roverfest to gain sponsors, attract an audience.
