Always a great show setting in the bay watching, I know some of the CBBC group is starting to make plans to be there.

We will be there! Tried to do the air show last year, but the dates were all Messed up. Glad it's the weekend before again this year.

I just watched a show on HGTV, I know, I already turned in my man card. Anyway, they featured a house on round lake, Charlevoix. What an awesome lake house, the big brown place with an enormous boat house. I think I sat in my boat just off his dock and watched the boats go through for the poker run last summer. That is the second time I have seen a house from the Charlevoix area featured on TV. The other was a "Super" log home on lake Charlevoix. I know that there are many homes like that in the area. Being from a small town where we don't have anything to compare to it I think that is just incredible. Yet another reason to come and spend some time in the area around the poker run.

I have said it before and I will say it again, what and incredible area to go boating and have an event like the Boyne Thunder poker run. Florida Powerboat Club has coined the phrase "Power Boating in paradise" that could apply to Northwestern Michigan just as easily, in my opinion.

The boat house belongs to one of the Wynn brothers. As in Four Wynn boats. They sold the company off along time ago. Cool place!
