How are they about noise up there? Need to know if I need to put the mufflers back on.

Mark I don't think you will have any trouble. There is a lot of power up there that weekend and I've not seen them bother anyone.

Back in the 90's they would pull you over and check you with a meter. Has been a long time since they have gave us a hard time.

The only thing I think you have to worry about that weekend is the speed limit on Lake Charlevoix, its 55mph. The event throws a lot of money into the community there so they are happy we are there, but still safety is more important then some noise violations. Great time for sure.

Feb 1. Snowing again in Chitown I hope the lake is thawed by July. :lolhit:

{ would love to go to this event I see reg. don't strat till march 15 for new guys. But I see people already reserving slips and rooms . Give me the scoop what marina are the slips at ? Who do I call? Where to stay ? Any help much appreciated

The lake should be thawed but there may be some snow piles in the parking lots.
