I am interested in this run if I can work it out on my end.

I have used the ramp at Tappen beach in Hempstead harbor on a run 2 years ago. There were 35-40fters there that were part of the run that didn't have any issues. Parking lot was big to maneuver and plenty of parking.

I'm not sure if there is a ramp in Port Washington harbor. If there is it would cut a few miles off the ride from Hempstead Harbor. I'll see if I find any info on that port.

Yes, I've used Tappan a bunch of times myself too. Great ramp..... What were asking is about the ramp in Haverstraw. When I ran the Hudson run two years ago we all got in without issue, but Neil is in a 47'..... We need local knowledge if that is doable in Haverstraw. The issue with Tappan for the Hudson run is it is a LONG ride all the way to Kingston and back....

And the ramp in Manhasset Bay is Manorhaven Ramp..... I've used it at high tide but sketchy...... Not sure I'd attempt in a 47'....

Sorry I didn't realize the run was starting that far north after looking at the map. Tappen Beach would add a good 100+ miles to the route.
