Was great last year and hope to make it this year. I'm having issues with one drive so hope it is not a deal breaker. Lunch run was great too.
We won last year...two in a row???? Lol
Fun anyway.

Question: what does it take to get a sllip at Big Water??? I have emailed twice and called all day and can't get a slip. I really don't get it. I have never had so much difficulty getting a slip anywhere else at events. Either they have some or they don't ... and they know it. I keep getting, "well we might be low on slips for - you say whatever reason you want here - and I'll have the mgr call you, which never happens and this was the same thing when we showed up last year. Was supposed to have a slip reserved then when I got there they scrambled for an hour to find something for me. Sometimes we get shoe horned into smaller slips, since we are 42 feet due to shortage or whatever but things usually work out. Big water just seems lost and I still don't have a slip, after no shortage of trying. I even called last month but got no reply and could not leave a message. WOW, what gives with this place??????????????? Does Todd Campbell organize this?

Wow man that sucks. I am not part of the inter-circle of putting this thang together. Darlene is the Mgr at Big Water. I havent seen Todd at Big Water at all this year. Except once to get gas in his boat. Here is the contact info for folks putting together. http://hartwelllakepokerrun.com/contact-us/

All that being said dont let a slip stop you. I know two different house boats that dock at Big Water at the very end of two different docks. If both those guys already have folks docking beside them. You can always tie up at my dock. I will pm you my cell.

See ya next weekend.

outta control, thanks for the help, pm and taking your time on this. Look forward to seeing everyone this weekend. Unfortunate that storms take their toll on marinas. The slip we had last year is gone, wow.
Happy boating.

Default Good times

So the run went well, we had a blast, the drive concerns worked out well and we ran the course in almost half the time of last year. We were hitting on the throttles pretty hard.
Sorry these cellphone pics are not very good but some shots from the run.
