Re: Texoma Labor Day Poker Run!! 100% payback
I won't be there the 18th. This may be my last weekend for awhile. I am about to adjust my tunnel tabs down to give me more lift then we are going to try some higher end props. My boat doesn't come out of the hole real well with full fuel. The tabs about one and a half inch down at the aft surface is supposed to make the 31 come out of the hole faster and give it 2-5mph more on top end than it gets if it is set even with the keel line. This weekend I am going to go ahead and let it all hang out and see what it will really run. I haven't been over 4900rpm so far. I am going to need a baseline to measure the changes against. I'm gonna carry the GPS also.

st31, I have an Excalibur 27 Speedster. I know the area where your friend lives... which side of the bridge? We need to hook up sometime out on the lake or THE TIKI HUT or CEDAR ISLE. What lake do you usually run around on?

He lives on the cove side of the bridge. We have to go under the bridge to get to the main part of the lake. I live less then 10 miles from Lewisville, but go all over Texas. The fourth of July on Cedar Creek was great. We were running flat out at dusk on our way to the houses that shoot off all of the fireworks when we were buzzed by an old fighter jet several times. Was an incredible site when he kicked in the after burners. Looked like an old Mig fighter. I think that it was Mr. McKeen, the old Continental Airlines pilot that I heard has planes like that out there.
Next time I plan on heading to the lake I will definitly let you know.

I knew he had some of those planes, but I didn't know he had any put together and flying. I would have liked to have seen that. We were out, but floating up by Seven Points.
