If You Cant Beat Them, Protest!
#22
First of all, how could you even get mad at the protest if it was completely legitimate, and their points were taken away? The fountain was penalized 100 points because they did not follow the rules and use dyno'd motors like everyone else did! Why would they not use the motor that had been dyno'd, if they had nothing to hide? So the protest was completely legitimate, and was decided fairly. However, they should have the points from both races taken away if they used non-dyno'd motors for both races! Second, Joe Sgro did not even put in the protest, he had nothing to do with it! So because the OSG team had protested we must ASSUME that it was Joe Sgro? HAH, and how can you say "Once Again" they were protested, when the OSG/Outerlimits team and Joe Sgro have never protested a race before?
Follow the rules and teams wont protest! And if you did nothing wrong your points wont be taken away!

Well said 22 -
Little background before i get on my soapbox,,
I come from SCCA and IMSA racing and the rule are so vague/lose and based on money
Teams should have limits on weight, cubes and revs and even fuel! Its still a rich man's sport until they get a hold on the above, lets just play it out. But for now, bring as many boats and sponsors to the races it will all shake out if WE RACE TOGETHER. At the very least start with P 4-5 and 6
PLEASE get along, we need the sport to grow and TV is going to be the way.

Damn, that's ^ harsh.
As for the protest and forfeiture of points... sounds fair to me as long as what's been posted is true. By not following the rules you run the chance of losing what you're racing for.

At the moment I am not saying anything about the issue, as we are sorting all the BS out.
Everyone will be updated as soon as we get it sorted.
Dont start with assumptions etc....
And as far as Joe not knowing they were all sat at the table in the tent writing the wrongful protest after the awards....They had time, as they werent even close to a podium finish ( had to put that in...sorry LOL)
I saw them with my own eyes!!! MIKE, PAUL, JOE and GIANCARLO.
Thanks Maximus for the nice comment!!
PS22 that is way too harsh!!!
