Ditto to all the compliments on the way the race was run and the way the town came out to support the event.
Some may not know but there was a race on Sat. AM with our armed forces in the Panther boats competing. Each class raced at least 4 heats. From Sat AM to Sun PM there was action on the water. Joe and team Perfection put on a family style dinner for all that was out of this world. The Panther class just keeps getting better and better. There were teams that had some hard core names in them.

Just to name some guys that have been around. Deck to deck racing in identical boats. What do you think will happen. There was some rubbing, there was some yelling, there was some cheering and most of all there were some hugh smiles at the awards. Go Kart racing on the water is the best comparison I can come up with.

You r the man Ran, Thank you for showing up. Why didn't Mark and Bob show up, that would have made some great racing as well. You are right, looked like factory one in 2000. You and pirate in the last race, nice. Simmions, unbeatable!!!! Can they be beat? NSF. BIGGEST NUTS AWARD......That 26 American Offshore, 123mph in the P 4 class? Is that why you brokeout? W T F, Is that why my Helmet came off.. Sat Dinner, Joe and Scott, you know the name of your team . Thank you all for making this the BEST CRYSTAL COAST GRAND PRIX EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Default P1 Morehead City Race

It was an honor to be part of this inaugural race. I saw the action that Martin and the local production crew put together; the Military racing thrilled our teams and the Panther SS boats had all the insignias on the individual boats. It was truly a thrill to meet the soldires and officers.
