Come on Semper, you can't really include the cost of your house.
My boating cost 8k a year w/ in water slip(and thats w/o anything breaking).
The boat was 28k... so it was a big cost.
Now if I bought a 200k boat and it cost 12k a yr to keep going... not so big a deal.

BTW... if one would considering buying a new 33 now, they should also look at the 34 Saber... just ask BGIII. :D

You have a point there, I included it because the only reason I have that house is to go boating :D It's a second home, I don't rent it either. I am considering renting it out to help reduce costs :D

You have a good point there. Look what has happened to the prices on Cigarettes, they have increased quite a bit in the last couple of years.

OR... if you include it as part of your boating, and sell it, you'd probably make money on the total sale. :drink:

In that range, what would you recommend? A 35 lightning? Most 33 Powerplay's are $90k

I own a home in Lake Havasu, Az where we do most of our boating....it costs me roughly $3,000+ A MONTH to go boating  .....this is my mtg payment+taxes+ insurance+ boat payment+ boat insurance+ traveling+ food, etc....

Everytime we go out there, it costs a minimum of $225.00 to get there and eat, this is not including putting gas in the boat

Hmm, just about the same amount as my house payments for the home at LOTO. The only difference is it appreciates instead of the opposite. :D

Semper, just think, if you moved somewhere colder (midwest) you would save 18K per year! Never mind - bad idea :drink:

My house is worth over $400K now in Havasu...I paid $325K for it so I'm happy :D

I can literally go boating ALL YEAR ROUND out here, no need for me to move :D :evilb:
