Here is our 28'
My buddy looks way too comfortable in the front seat!
By the way, the boat is getting 300 merc engines, new gauges, new indicators, new steering setup, new steering wheel, gps speedo, stereo with speakers, carpet, billet fender holder, push in style cleats, and a rebuilt trailer. Can't wait.

I don't care they went out of business..they built a bad a$$ boat.I am considering a 28' PP. How do you like yours. I would love to compare a 28' to a 33' PP

Its a shortened 33'. Does very well for its size in rough water and comes alive once you get up to speed.
We really didnt get to play with all that much before it was rerigged. Cant wait for the Spring with the new motors. For the money, you can't beat it in my opinion.

I own a 1998 28 powerplay with a single 540 8-71, 850hp/tq, respectively spinning a herring 30p 5 blade. She cruises at 52-55 at 3200rpm, right under boost, and is capable of hitting somewhere in the 80's.
Does extremely good on fuel and rides like a much larger boat. I boat mostly in the Chesapeake Bay and like most boaters cruise between Annapolis and the Inner harbor.
Love the boat, rigging, ride, and handling.
