How many 33' Sprtdeks, and where......?
 

The thread in GD about PP and Cig. got me wondering how many 33's were built and where they might be.

The Cig forum did this for Cafe's and it made a great thread and a fun read.

I meant I have 1, I know you have 1, and there is 1 in Grand Haven as well. Wasn't forgettting about you, just starting the count.

I would assume it is canadian dollars, if not he is a little high. I have seen it on St. clair twice (once each of the last 2 years).

Here's a couple shots of the drives and motors....
I can't remember if the motors are built 454s or 502s but they put out 650 hp each and I think the drives are speedmasters (where is my memory going....I just took these pictures a couple weeks ago while I was in Florida for the Miami show....I must be looking at too many different boats :confused: :eek: )

I don't think it is officially listed. PMT in Pompano has it (they're rigging all the new Midnight/Powerplays).

There are at least 6 33 powerplays in the Annapolis MD. Area. I don't have pictures of all of them' but I'll see what I can find. The powerplay in the post above was rigged by Pat and the guys at Performance Marine in Pompano. It has 502 (509?) engines with650+or-hp. The boat is very nice,but so are the 6 around annapolis.

The guys to ask would be John Boscarino (Bosco) and Ed, they would probably have a pretty good idea.

An aside:
I've got a 4 inch tall stack of pics on loan from Bosco that shows the entire Powerplay build from start to finish on 2 or 3 different 33 sport decks. Maybe one day I'll get motivated & scan them in, quite a bit of history there.

Good post. I'd love to see the pics of some of these boats. I was talking to Ed (here on OSO) he was a longtime PP employee and he told me there were maybe 3-4 33's built each year for the last 4 yrs or so. I thought there were more out there. :eek:

I did not buy it...as far as I know, it's still for sale and it does lok much better. I am working a deal on another 33PP. :D MAN!!--I love those 33' PP's

Yes, A lady owns the boat and the colors were "too pastel" looking, so she had it painted.

Wonder if she will put the black "Powerplay" on it? I think the writing
on these boats look good.

Now with the new scheme it sure would be nice
if it had some blue EFI's to match :D

That boats coming to Lake George this year. My buddy just bought it Sunday. Should be here in two weeks. Hes having a trailer built in NY. I can't wait to see it. I love these boats. It will be the only one on Lk. George.

Tell your friend congrats!! He will love the boat. I was interested in this boat pictured below. The owner, Larry Goldman (extremepowerboats.com) replaced the vents on the back with chrome vents...they look much better.

If a 33'PP with 500EFI's runs approx. 82mph. ---What do you think the same boat would run with the 500's rebuilt to 540's with 620hp and 650tq

We saw you guys in the ICW a few times last Sunday. It looks great. We have a 38 Top Gun with a big #1 in the front and "Cigarette" down the side. Here is a pic of the PP with the new paint.

Greg, Jason's friend has a 33' PP with a pair of outboards. They keep it on a lift in Deerfield Beach.

Semper, I think an average 33 is gonna run 88-90mph with 620hp. Different setups vary in speeds,but 90 is probably max with stock bravos. Did you find yourself a 33?

I was thinking (hoping) it would be a little over 90mph with 620hp per side :D I do have a 2001 33' PP in the works right now. I am going to have the motors rebuilt to 540's. It has XR drives
