Default 33PP Fuel Tanks

Having owned a boat with a tank built into the hull, and that manufacturer recommending storing the boat empty, what is the correct way to store my 33 PP for winter? Full or Empty? Or does it not really matter?
Thanks

With this ethynol fuel crap, I'm leaving mine empty. I'm hearing all kinds of horror stories about it going bad.

Great thread and discussion below, also the link to Pascoe's analysis in post #13 is about the best I've ever seen.

Thanks. So with all that said.....Is it best to run it down the most you can and then put fuel stabilizer in??

I appreciate all the info, and am not trying to be obnoxious, but in a nut shell, what is the final answer?
