So you had enough room in the standard engine compartment to move the engines forward and put in the tranny's. Sweet!
Just Curious as to why you put the boxes on with the step hull? I know the striaght bottom guys say they help (41 Apaches/Sabers) Just seems it would make the boat real heavy in the rear end with the drives way back there, and the huge power you have in the bilge. Just curious as this is obviously way different than any other 38PP out there.

We put the boxes on to give the boat more hull in the water. With the big power I have in the boat it would run "out of hull" before it reached top speed, so we put the boxes on to gain more speed.

What are you basing this on. Is this the only #6 38 PP or are there others. Thanks Jeff
