my powerplay is in the b.v.i nothern offshore. i came from the states to the b.v.i with twin 2.5, 260. wally i sent u some pics, post them for me please.

yes wally,those are the 3 pics i sent. i am trying to decide if i should put on twin 300x or twin 300xs. i love the x because of the hp but the xs saves gas. thanks wally

yes,northernoffshore they put some graphics on the velocity.my boat did about 86 on a good day.i want it to be in the 90's with twin 300x or 300xs.what size prop and what prop would u guys recomend for me with that setup.

The boat has promaxs with sportmasters. I would like to move up to a staggered 33' pp. but have too many project going on right now to make my move.

northernoffshore if u are ready to sell that bad boy u know the b.v.i . is the place for it.

New motors
 

My boat is almost finished. I had a pair of 2000 Pro Max 225's on it. They had 450 hours on them, but ran perfect. Anyway I was getting a little nervous with those kind of hours, so I tracked down a pair of 2005 225X's. we rigged them ourselves, but I just dropped the boat off yesterday to Fuller's Marine to have them iron out a few problems.

My props spin outward. Should the motors be toed in or out? We just mounted them directly to the transom.

I would let them spin inward and the toe should be about 1/4 inch out . If they spin inward .:rolleyes:
Inward gonna give your 25 more stability and handling.
Act. dan told me inward is better on powerplays ,due to the angle of the transom.

I did the 25 powerplay Sport deck and tooling we wanted to keep the profile similar to the 33 lines. They built a good number of them as I recall.

We have 2 of them here in Cincinnati. Both blown I/O''s. CFD5 has one and my brother has the other. They are both still in the process of going back together but they should see the water shortly!

No it gets stored on the trailer in a storage facility near me. I would like to see the one at mariners. I may stop when I get out on the river soon!

Picked mine up Friday Fuller's Marine. Had a number of issues to get straightened out. George and Debbie Fuller are great people. It was a pleasure taking my boat there for the first time. They got everything squared away.

Ran the boat yesterday out in ocean over to Atlantic City. It was a very rough day, so it was a good test. My "new" 2005 225 Pro Max X motors ran perfect.

Very happy to be back on the water. Heading out today in a little bit.

No idea on how many were actually built...but i know of atleast 3 for sure....and i have this pick of one of them...

welp, I have located 3 with twins on bracket's so far, so that makes the 4th of 4 so far on a single motorwell mount.... anybody know who's that is, or where located?

that pic i lifted from i think here...but i believe it was someones Dads boat...form the reg. numbers you can see its in FL..but not sure where...

i'd love to find out if it's available..

I own an all original 98 25' powerplay open fish with twin 300 pro max's, and a friend of mine owns a 1997 with twin 300xs opti's. I will post pictures soon. GREAT BOATS!!!

Yeah, that's mine. I bought it brand new in 1998, and sold it in 2002. I was able to look the guy up, and I bought it back in October of last year. Fortunately he took decent care of it.

Yes. I'm the guy that took decent care of it and had the graphics painted on it. One heck of a boat and I regret getting rid of it but things are tough right now and I know I sent it to a good home... :D PLEASE, check with me if you ever want to get rid of it again. I loved that thing....

It definitely couldn't of gone to a better home, as you know, I take great care of it. No plans to sell for a long time, but if I do I'll call ya. Thanks, Dave.:ernaehrung004:
