My 33' is for sale

Ok peeps, here it is, time for me to unload my dream boat. I've always wanted a PowerPlay but only after two years I am selling it. Nice boat...hopefully it finds a loving home.

Good luck with the sale Steve. Are you downsizing or getting out of boating for a while? Me and my brother will probably be storing our boats at Cove next year(we'll be in 27-29 footers). It would have been cool to have 3 performance boats lined updown there.

I'm out of boating for a while :hothead:

What are you guys getting?

Gladhe8er 09-25-2007 10:32 AM

Currently we joint own the Scarab(it's for sale as well). We are going our separate ways and each getting a boat for next year. I am looking at 288 Sunsation, 29 Fountain, 28-29 Velocity(the GF & I like the stand up boats better). My bro is more likely going to get a 29 Kryptonite, 27 Activator, etc.

Check out the Nordic 28 also. Paul (TSPM) has them over in Long Island. I had one before the PP and it was a sweet boat. More room than the Sunny and Fountain and the same performace. You might also want to try Rex Marine on the other side of the harbor for rack storage. I couldn't stand trailering the PP everytime I wanted to use it, too much time wasted washing boat/trailer, flushing etc. When I had the Nordic I kept it at Rex and used the heck out of it because it was so easy. I missed going out a bunch of times this year because it was such a pain in the nuts to get it ready to go out and clean it up at the end of the day. I'm not one to take shortcuts in the cleaning dept so it was certainly an ordeal.

I think the Nordic is a sit-down boat???

Good idea about Rex Marine. I just always assumed a service like that is VERY expensive....

Indy 09-25-2007 11:04 AM

Nope...not a sit-down at all. Contact Paul, nice guy and has some 28s in stock, his oso name is TSPM I think.

I haven't been to Rex for a few years but the prices weren't bad at all considering the area, plus they have great mechanics there.

Cool, I will check out the Nordic's and Rex. I won't hijack your thread any longer. Good luck selling! I am trying to get rid of mine before the winter as well.

Was this a fresh or salt water boat?
