Bolster seats
#1
Does anyone know where I can source 3 bolster seat bottoms (framework) for a 33. Or know who the manufacturer of the seats was. They are for the back seat, I have 3 individual bolsters back there, but no bottoms. Someone must have taken them out along the way.
Thanks,
Frank

Some Powerplays had rear bolsters with no bottom. Some had the rear bench removed and the bolster put in. Any good upholstery shop should be able to make the bottom. Mine has an aluminum bracket setup to hinge the seat bases and support the weight of people sitting in them.

Do you have any pic's of your rear seat?
Mine has the brackets for the flip down bolsters, they just aren't there. I'm pretty sure I can fab up the framework then take them to the upholstery shop and have the wood cut and cushions made. Or I've been kicking around the idea of making a rear bench seat to replace the whole deal.
So if anyone has pic's of their rear seat, bench or bolster, please post em up for me so I can get some ideas!
Thanks,
Frank

That is the one option I really wish my boat had. Twin Marine does nice stuff, so I'm sure you could talk to them about making the bottoms. You could also PM Ed here on the board. He will definately be able to tell you who originally made the bolsters for the boat if they came from Powerplay.
