if it was tied up to a dock, it may not have went all the way under???

30k for a painted hull, deck, hydraulic steering, tabs, gimbals, swim platform, hardware, doesn't seem terrible even if it needs all new wiring.

Boat was on the bottom, water covering the fairing, full submersion. I saw the pictures before it was re-floated. It spent about 30 hours under salt water.

Yeah enough stuff was there but you need new power, drives, generator, interior and after buying all that and putting the 30K on top you can buy another boat a lot cheaper with no work. Boat sold two years ago for 150K in perfect running order, cold a/c in the cabin with a flat screen on the wall.

not arguing, but how did it go all the way down when tied up? I guess if only 1 side was tied it would go all the way, just hanging sideways.

Didn't send the CSI rope analysis team to inspect the tie job.

Here is where you can start your investigation:

Look at picture 19, it shows the pool with the 38 PP tied up at the dock across the canal. It appears to be tied to a boat that is tied to the actual dock. Don't know if it was done that way the day of the sinking but the pics I saw had an oil slick on the fairing and on the headliner of the cabin. To me that is a high water mark and everything below that was under salt water.

Get back to me Horatio when you hear from the lab boys downtown..........

Does anyone know who bought the PP? How he plans on rebuilding, with what motors, paint, drives ,etc....

Just curious thats all???

Where is the ad or listing on.

I just spoke with the owner of it. They put stock 500's with bravo drives from a burned up Scrab. They did nothing else to it. They took out the AC and Gen. He does know about it sinking. No trailer. So she is going to need a good amount of work to make it sweet again.
