A real lesson....watch where you store a boat in S. Florida (it was stolen the day after it came out of rack storage).... yes, I found the boat through help from Offshoreonly and the hull is fine. No motors, no drives, etc. Luckily (and I use the term loosely) they were very careful the way they took it apart. The most frustrating part is that we know who ended up with the parts and so do the police - the big question is if they will ever act and make an arrest...

I just did it without boxes. Boat was faster but harder to plane. I would reccomend only going up 1" if you have a Pre-95 boat like mine. I'm not sure what the post 94 boats will do since they have more weight in the back.

U just need to cut the spacer in the back,,thats all.
But its not a problem.
U can get any length spacer up to 2 inch .
they come in 1 and 2 inch but u can maschine them any thicknes.
On race boats we do it all the time to get it perfect.
