Of course this is beyond the discussion of PP, Apaches, Ciggs, etc... Perhaps a different thread altogether, since I don't want to mix apples and avacados.

Reason being, there are a lot of folks on this site and others, that look at older Formulas, PP, Bajas and the like, simply because the new ones are way beyond the reach. But with your knowledge and hands-on experience, you must have some idea of who the better recreational boat makers are.
No one who works in the industry (or plans to in the future) will openly answer your question. By answering ABC makes the best quality you are inferring XYZ is not. The performance boat industry is a very small community and a one liner about boat quality from an insider would spread like wildfire!

Steve may answer it in a PM but I suspect he won't do it on the open forum......

Not specifying the performance boat industry, which arguably is small.

I think Steve in general has already pointed out some of the current performance boats he respects, and why. Not a Ford/Chevy type discussion. Different thread maybe.

Race background would play a role in that consideration and feedback from owners ,Like in the case of Pantera they build a fine boat, I am a So Florida Guy so being partial to Our people down here, please excuse me for that ,But Cigarette,Magnum (bringing the 27 Back) Active Thunder, I have to mention Powerplay in this as a added to line, stepped 29 built from the last 33 mold Danny and I Built with the extra free board.

Powerplay 38 Hull Vacuum Bag Sealing ,I keep a very loose bag to avoid bridging and use a few large "Pigs Ears" instead of many small ones to take up the resulting extra Bag film at the tape line
