But, in the ad above, is the weight stated without power?

Yes, weight is DRY weight !!!!!!

hull and deck, no rigging !

I've read this thread from start to finish over the last several nights. If this thread doesn't make you want to run out and buy a Powerplay, you need to have your head checked.

I have always liked Powerplays, but this has really heightened my appreciation for them. Just awesome. I'll take mine in a 33 Sport Deck with OBs please! :)

Steve,

I haven't seen too many 25's with a bracket. This is the first 25' Sportdeck I've seen with a pad out back.

Oop's you saw what it was.

Sir that is the reason behind my making this thread to show what these very carefully watched over and built boats looked like up close and some history from my view point.

I remember it now. You had it repainted a few years ago.

How did the 2.5's compare to the 300's you rerigged with?

The 2.5's were too much of a race motor for our application. The 300's were great

It was. My buddy Frank bought it from him back in 1994. Then it was sold to "Lightspeed" in NY and now "Northernoffshore" in Fl.

Steve, do you happen to know if the 25's performed better with O/B mounted on the transom or on a bracket/platform? Like the one in post 614

This came from his wall.Danny's Office was also a shrine to all things Powerplay, trinkets and such that everyone brought in to him.

Did they ever extend the cockpit when they put the O/B on a bracket and got them off the transom?
