Powerplay Boats
#2133
Question for Steve1 - I noticed that the 33 Powerplay "Hot Property" has 2 deck hatches that are side by side, and a rail going down the center. ALL other 33 PP's (Ive seen) have 2 hatches that are side by side. Was this a one off boat?

I can say this as FACT: I ran the boat in Long Island Sound, a wonder body of water for boating. Slop is usually not a problem, 2's - 3's normal, typical dog days during high summer like glass, but gets riled up easily with 4's and bigger once in a while, nothing bigger than that with the exception of storms then all hell breaks loose and nobody wants to be out in it then anyway so it really doesn't matter. The boat in my years running it NEVER rattled, shuddered, got out of shape or knocked us around. It wasn't as fast as a Fountain 35 525 which has on a number of occasions broken the sound barrier with no modifications full of people and fuel but it didn't matter one bit to me. The ride was always predictable, comfortable, and it really didn't come into it's own until there was some slop. Combine that with timeless looks the boats are winners. Miss mine very much but glad I had a chance to own my dream boat (yes, PP's were and are my dream boats!!).
