A great thread about GREAT boats.
I always loved 33s and 28s were always my favorite because it would be a riot to run in big water.
Sullivan was always a thrill to watch run.
Fish boats always had my attention also and still do.
Wasn't there a couple of 28 cc? or a 25cc?
I use to go by and see Danny during the development of the 38
I remember him hanging the plug from the rafters to show how well the balance was.
Boy that was a long time ago.
The good ol' days when there was lots of boats and lots of people at the races and always boats out on the water.

Sir Nice post and thank you, There was the 25 Open Fish, the first 33 open Fish started with the old Cobra race deck that was made into a center console until the new CC mold was built ,the 28 was a nice boat but only 12 were built so with the demand low the resources to tool a 28 CC deck was not justified, but who knows it may have took off.
A lot of 33 CC's were built right up till the end.
The orginal Cobra race deck was cut up and scrapped we kept just the back half to pull parts from for the staggered race boats until a new race deck mold was done.
