Any 33's out there with 525 EFI's?

There was 1, was supposedly getting 625 Ilmors but haven't heard anything on it in a long time.

The used 33 market is pretty scarce nowadays...

I think one of the last 33's built was a 33 w/525's but it was stolen, stripped and left on the side of the road.....I believe that was the boat getting Ilmors

What do you run for top speed?

Yes...I was on it a bunch of times, 87-89 with stock Bravo 32s, Merc ITS Speedmaster. Beautiful ride for sure.

Sounds like a sweet set-up. How well did it get on plane with that set-up?

No problem but it needed the anti-ventilation plates that I think come stock with the speedies. Without them it won't work, I know because one got busted and it was difficult for it to get on plane.

Edit: Actually now that I think of it, I can't remember if it was stock or he had an anti-ventilation extension put on. Tomlinson rigged the boat so maybe he put them on. Whatever it was, the boat needed it for sure.

Edit AGAIN LOL!!: Sorry, it's been a few years, I think it was what Merc calls a splash plate. I'd have to shoot him a note if you need to know.
