There is a reason it has not sold yet. Just post some proof of when it sells to prove myself and others who agree its overpriced wrong

Powerplays are a high end boat someone will buy it and rig it nicely again. No need to justify your price, the last two I sold brought twice as much as comparable model brands and sold fairly quick. The only difference is they had power but 1 owner went out and bought new better engines and rigged it his way.

We all know a/t's are the bomb and side by side seating rocks.

There are a Dozen of us on here that feel the boat is worth about 80k TURN KEY. Just opinions, nothing to get mad about.
IF you want us to agree its worth more please list every PART and LABOR that the boat needs and the price. |
In the pics the trim pumps and transom assy's are gone. Tabs, exhaust, engines and drives. It is a bit more involved than just dropping in power and throwing some drives on. All the little stuff adds up and is not cheap. Hence why IMO it is priced high. Not dogging the boat, just being realistic...

Tz, I think you need to pull the ad and relist it when it's done and ready to go.
Many will see it for what it is, and not have any imagination to figure out what you are doing. Once the interior is in, will you be rigging the boat w/ what you have? Or will it just ship in a box w/ the boat? All this will make a difference to a prospective buyer. IMO, I'd rather use my own power/drivetrain, knowing what it is instead of buying someone else's stuff. And that is the beauty of this boat... Get'r done and relist... that's my 0.02. |

I'm certainly not getting mad! The value is what someone is willing to pay for it but you throwing numbers around is a bit out of line. You stated the NADA value and I printed and showed the value to be completely different. As for a turnkey value that would depend on what was chosen for power/drives. In regards to a price on every part and labor..come on, Really? That is way to broad, there are all sorts of deals on drives/ tabs, power and labor is all over as well. PowerplayJ Let me re-phrase and clarify my statement. What I was trying to say was that everything is in place when the components are added. As an example the trim tab locations are there and drilled as are the tab pump locations and the wiring. You do not have to locate, mark and wire them. The same goes for the drives, engines etc. Not to sound as though I'm over simplifying but the boat is in plug and play condition. When I had my skater rigged the cost was 10K, that was starting with a hull and deck. The dash had to be laid out and all the gauge holes cut, Transom had to be marked, cut and sealed. All of the wiring from dash and throttles back had to be rigged, stereo installed, fuel lines, key switch and harnesses, bilge pumps, blowers etcc.. Everything to take it from bare hull and deck to running boat. I supplied " hard parts". the 10K included labor, wiring, clamps, loom, fuses etc.. $100 per hour at 100hrs All of that part of the rigging is done on the PP. Oddly enough 10K is what TNT charged JRomy to rig the PP from basically a hull and deck ( the transom openings were cut and gauge holes were in place). The quote I got to install the motors, drives, transom assemblies, tabs and pumps was 4-5K. |
I guess one of us do not know how to read/interperate nada. YOU posted the same numbers i posted. Mid 50's.
BUT I along with 12 others feel its worth around 80k. Like it sits with interior IMHO $35k Withour interior $30k I understand the price is OBO so thats what I would offer. Please understand I have tried to be positive and compliment throughout this thread also so please dont only read into my post as negative. Even though many of us LOVE well built wave crushers the fact is they dont sell. New boats are all about top speed. Thats why saber. 43 checkmate. Black thunder etc dont sell. People with the money are to chicken to drive in the rough so they purchase a calm water step hull go fast. |

The biggest detriment in my mind is the difficulty to finance a boat in pieces, which limits you to cash buyers. |
