Haha!

Not to mention it is 10 years older, and the price is about right on that CL one. However, I think it's been for sale forever, not because the price because the guy is just pretending to sell. I'm pretty sure I tried to get info on it in 2008 when I bought mine, and nobody has ever heard back from him since then.

Boats like this 2000 38 TG/500 efi's for 65K hurt the chances of a sale of the PP: http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o49725-en.html

But to be fair, the same broker has a 35 Cafe Racer with the same power for sale for 78K....

I agree in theory but they are 2 totally different boats. One is a hot rod the other is a tank. A desirable tank but a tank none the less. The pp is a hot rod and those who want hot rods will look at it and a few other boat in the same relm.

Does anyone here run their 33 hard against TG's? I know there's 5' of difference, but how well do you hang with them?

I do. PP does very well but the Cig is bigger. We have turned around at the same time when the water got BIG. Although that might have more to do with stupidity of the captain (me) than capability of the boat.

A fairer comparison would be a 35 Cig. A buddy of mine has a t/s and we are side by side in any water so far...

*we haven't had the chance to run ****ty water yet*

Are you talking the Mistress? Not even close, better comparison would be with my 32 Sunsation. Ha Ha. and I have been in all three.

I think the two other boats that would closely resemble a 33PP would be a 32 Active thunder and a 32 hustler. They are all straight bottoms, close to the same lines, and fast for their day. A 35 Cig was never fast, even in its day............The 32 Sunsation should stay out of this fight, or it could get its ego hurt pretty quick. Maybe head over to the fountain forums, theyre in the same weight class.

Oh ok, got ya. The 33PP is far superior to a 35 cafe or mistress if you are talking performance. It will walk a 35 cafe HP for HP in rough or calm water. Now, if youre talking cabin, etc..., then some people will like the space on the cig.
