Me personally I like that sea foam/mint green color of the newer fishing boats. It's kinda retro but looks clean as long as its on the right boat. I've thought of changing mine over maybe next year when funds are available.

You have the perfect scheme.....just paint it blue instead of purple.

I always like the classier paint like you find on some cigs, here's a good new example:

Did I send that to you? That is what I have been basing my renderings off of. Now I am thinking of going all white with silver racing stripes piped in purple pearl going down the deck and rear. Silver cockpit and gauges? Hmmm...

Haha, no. We just have similar taste in paint obviously!

I think something in white w/ silver/charcoal/purple like that pic would be bad ass on your boat. The lines of the cig give you an idea of what it'd look like, and it adds some length.

I don't like racing stripes on a boat 99% of the time, they are usually just too plain, like the painter just shrugged and said "this is easy so I'll do it". Needs something on the sides too, even if just a little. That's what I like about that 42.

I like silver/gray, would like to add some gray carbon fiber inserts on my interior.

I was thinking the Powerplay script a little smaller and towards the rear in a shadow color would be awesome.
