Purchased 33 sportdeck over the weekend. Took it out and played with it some Sunday and have to say coming from a twin outboard cat to a v bottom it is a different ride. I think we are really going to enjoy it. Back to the couple first questions. It has a stock set of 28 four blade bravos on it now, turning in. Is there a particular prop these boats like and do the typically run better turning in or out. Also how about the toe. Do the generally like to be toed a little one way or the other. Just trying to get a little head start on checking the set up all though I know trial and error will eventually answer most my questions. I look forward to getting to know some of the other pp owners out there.
Thanks in advance for any advise.

So you did buy it. Congrats! Your gonna love it.
I have tried Hydromotives and found the Merc Bravo 1's to be a better all around prop. I have never tried spinning in. I've been told they don't handle well. What rpm are you seeing with the 28's?

Yes sir it was the 91 in the classifieds. Was able to work out a good compromise with the owner ( he and his wife were super nice people by the way ) and decided to relocate her over here to SC. It needs a little attention nothing big, but with a little time we will get her dialed in. No worries with the eggbeaters on this one there will still be one more big block powered 33 out there. We looked at a lot of boats, but wanted to have something a little unique so that when you went to a run there would not be 10 more boats just like it. Plus the PP was about the only boat I never heard anyone say anything negative about. We are really exited about the summer.
Have not aired it out yet and held it, but boat accelerates hard to me for its size. My 10 year old son ( with me at the throttles ) has been the fastest so far. It ran 75 at 4800- 4900 rpm ( tachs bouncing around a little ), but I don't think I had near enough trim in it. It still felt a little stuck to the water, but again all my seat time is in a catamaran too so.
I'm sure I will have questions for you guys
